Word of the Day: Confidence

I am just about to do an interview for an article the will appear at The article is on female confidence in the workplace.

So I always go to my handy friend Webster to consider the dictionary version of a word...and below is what I found.

I think I'll be sharing a word of the day more often. For me definitions provide clarity and least this one sure did!

Definition of CONFIDENCE

a : a feeling or consciousness of one's powers or of reliance on one's circumstances <had perfect confidence in her ability to succeed> <met the risk with brash confidence>b : faith or belief that one will act in a right, proper, or effective way <have confidence in a leader>
